Winter Individual Championship 2025

On January 28, 2025, the city of Elbasan hosted the National Indoor Individual Championships, where Fortius and Tirana athletes delivered strong performances, securing podium finishes and confirming their competitive level across sprint, middle-distance, and endurance events.

In the women’s 60 metres, Paola Shyle (Tirana) claimed victory with an impressive 7.83, asserting her dominance in short sprint events. She was followed by Elisa Myrtollari (Skënderbeu) in 7.98, while Phoebe Mustafaraj (Fortius) finished third with 8.17, highlighting her potential as one of Fortius’ rising talents.

The women’s 400 metres saw a commanding display from Tirana athletes. Livja Topi secured first place in 58.32, closely followed by Iljana Beqiri in 58.44, with Alesia Dauti (Tirana) completing the podium in 59.33.

In the women’s 800 metres, Relaksa Dauti (Tirana) took the gold medal with a time of 2:11.99, confirming her consistency in middle-distance racing.

Fortius athletes stood out in the endurance events, particularly in the women’s 3000 metres, where Elizabeta Marku (Fortius) claimed victory with 11:44.77, followed by her teammate Kristina Pura, who finished second in 12:17.29.

In the men’s events, Bledar Mesi (Tirana) delivered a remarkable double victory, winning the 1500 metres in 4:12.52 and the 3000 metres in 9:23.02, making him one of the most successful athletes of the championships.

Overall, the performances of Fortius and Tirana at the 2025 National Indoor Individual Championships in Elbasan underline the clubs’ strong development structures, competitive depth, and significant contribution to the progress of Albanian athletics.
